Hello, my name is Xander Phạm, and I’m a Vietnamese-Canadian filmmaker based in Toronto, ON.
​
As a first-generation immigrant and transgender man, I advocate for Asian-immigrating and LGBTQIA+ stories in my works. I have worked with productions in both Vietnamese and English, and I hope to continue to explore more languages in my future projects.

During the past few years, I have worked in films, documentaries and commercials in different stages as a Writer, Producer, and Assistant Director.
​
I’m also a Picture Editor with various other experiences in post-production roles such as Post-Supervisor, Assistant Editor, Boom Operator, Sound Editor and Mixer. I am proficient in major post-production software- Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and Pro Tools.

My experiences in the Honours Bachelor of Film and Television program at Sheridan College have prepared me with the pandemic protocols to provide quality storytelling through writing, producing and editing.
